After playing the demo with Rich Vogel, Vice President and Co-Studio Director from bioware, SWTOR-Welten had the chance to talk to him and we could ask him some questions.

SWTOR-Welten: What's about levelling? How does it work and what's the level cap, if decided yet?

Rich Vogel: We haven't decided on the level cap, we haven't really talked about it yet. But the progression is very similar to World of Warcraft. Right now you play the lvl 10 character, you were started at lvl 7 and became lvl 10 by the time here down.

SWTOR-Welten: What about the end content? How will it take place and will the story move on?

Rich Vogel: Its 300 years after Kotor is when the game start, its a huge conflict going on between the Sith Empire and the Republic. So basically we start that way in the game. Every class has a unique story and you progress through your story in each class. So like if you're playing a Sith-Warrior you have your own story, and you progress through your own story. Its a world story, its a world instance. Which means it doesn't have to go to your story, your class-story and basically you can play that with other people, that's the difference.
And your class story you play just for yourself.

SWTOR-Welten: Another frequently asked question. Our community wants learn more about space combat. Are there any info?

Rich Vogel: Were not gonna talk about space right now.

SWTOR-Welten: You showed us some really nice concept art and some really nice graphic. Will this graphic be final?

Rich Vogel: The Character are still being worked on. That are very early characters you seen.

SWTOR-Welten: Okay, what about „day and night“ and weather effects?

Rich Vogel: Were not really talking about that right now weather were gonna have weather or not in the game.

SWTOR-Welten: Are there plans for different server types? For example RP, PvP, PvE.

Rich Vogel: We talked about it, but we didn't really discussed it yet.

SWTOR-Welten: Character-Creation, what could we gamer expect? Freedom of Choice or (for example) or pre-built Faces?

Rich Vogel: Its very similar to WOW (World of Warcraft).

SWTOR-Welten: Another question is the movement in TOR. Will there be mounts? If yes, could you give us an example?

Rich Vogel: Whether we have mounts or not we haven't discussed yet, but you can guess, right?

SWTOR-Welten: Ah okay. What about races and classes, any news there?

Rich Vogel: We have 8 classes in the game. We announced the Sith-Warrior, bounty hunter, the smuggler, and the republic trooper. Anything else we let you know as we go along.

SWTOR-Welten: You showed us different types of clothes, it seems every classes has its own style and awesome dresses. Could you tell us more about this?

Rich Vogel: Yeah, basically every class has a unique feel and abilities right? When you play a bounty hunter its gonna be different than when you play a sith warrior. Thats kinda cool so basically your experience is totally different, your starting locations are different and your progressing is different and your abilities are different. And when you go into a world instance where you have a party with you, you can also team up with other people with different abilities, right.

SWTOR-Welten: What's about combat? Could you tell us more about Combat? Will there be combos „like u can only use this one after this one“?

Rich Vogel: As you grow there'll be combinations what you can do. As you can see the combat is very action oriented, right. That's what we trying to do here, were trying to make it very visual. Very... you know you can feel being knock backed you can feel you are knocking someone else back. Its kinda cool.

SWTOR-Welten: Can you say anything about player companions?

Rich Vogel: We will have companions in the game, every bioware game has companions, they’re not pets, they’re companions. They're will actually help you, assist you. And you know when you're progress you will get a companion as a reward. So you will definitely have different companions to work with. We haven't really talked about it more.

SWTOR-Welten: When you start the game, what are you going to do first or what are you have to learn, what will there be quest progressing or do you have some kind of tutorial?

Rich Vogel: When we start a game it will basically take you through it. Will there be tutorials? We having tutorials but were not doing a whole system where you start in one area and you grow and then leave. Its pretty much being trained to you by doing things in the game. We think its very important, you learn by doing.

SWTOR-Welten: One last question, could you tell us something about beta or release dates?

Rich Vogel: We release it when its ready, that's what were telling people.

    SWTOR-Welten: Okay, thank you.
